Anthropic is hiring an Applied AI research engineer to study what its models can do, test them with real customers and help the applied team use new capabilities. The role works closely with product, research and sales groups.
- Test new models to find strengths and limits
- Build demos and evaluations for model and product launches
- Pass customer feedback back to product and research teams
- Write guidance that other applied AI staff can use with customers
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and Python skills
- Experience working with large language models
- Ability to explain technical results to customers and colleagues
This is a hybrid full time position at senior level, based in San Francisco, CA; New York City, NY.
Day to day work includes reading papers, running experiments and sharing results with colleagues.
