Discord is hiring an engineering manager to lead its Safety ML team. The team builds models that find harmful content and abuse across a platform with hundreds of millions of users.
- Hire, coach and grow a team of ML engineers
- Set the technical plan for safety detection models
- Oversee the full life of production models and their monitoring
- Work with policy, legal and trust and safety teams
Requirements
- Experience managing machine learning engineers
- Hands-on knowledge of production ML systems
- Interest in safety and abuse prevention
This is a remote full time position at lead level, based in Remote, United States.
Day to day work includes writing production code, reviewing model results and working with product teams on releases.
