Datadog is hiring a manager for Applied AI in Paris. The team builds smaller specialized models that replace frontier models where they are not needed, to cut cost and improve security.
- Lead a team of engineers and applied scientists
- Set technical direction and decide what to pursue or stop
- Work with product and research teams to ship AI features
- Keep feedback loops short between idea and customer use
Requirements
- Experience managing machine learning or engineering teams
- Strong grounding in applied AI
- Ability to work across research and product
This is a hybrid full time position at lead level, based in Paris, France.
Day to day work includes writing production code, reviewing model results and working with product teams on releases.
