Instacart is hiring a principal computer vision engineer for a small AI team building real-time retail analytics. The software runs on mobile devices in real stores.
- Own computer vision pipelines from research to deployment
- Combine classic vision methods with deep learning
- Train and tune models for detection and segmentation
- Optimize inference with TensorRT and CUDA
Requirements
- Deep experience in computer vision
- Strong Python and C++ skills
- Ability to lead technical decisions
This is a hybrid full time position at lead level, based in Israel (hybrid).
Day to day work includes writing production code, reviewing model results and working with product teams on releases.
