The Detection group at Cloudflare finds automated, fraudulent and malicious traffic. A principal data scientist leads research on the models that do this at internet scale.
- Lead design and evaluation of detection models
- Define how detection quality is measured
- Mentor other data scientists
- Work with product and engineering teams on new defenses
Requirements
- Extensive experience in applied data science or machine learning
- Strong statistics and Python skills
- Background in security, fraud or abuse detection is useful
This is a hybrid full time position at lead level, based in New York, NY; London, UK.
Day to day work includes querying large datasets, building models and presenting findings to decision makers.
