This senior staff role is on the Core ML team at Airbnb, which applies generative AI to customer service. The position owns the data and evaluation side of language model development.
- Define how model quality is measured with datasets and evaluation suites
- Build tooling for LLM testing, labeling and feedback loops
- Support fine-tuning and retrieval work with high quality data
- Set standards for evaluation across teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience in machine learning, ideally with language models
- History of leading cross-team technical projects
- Strong skills in data pipelines and experimentation
This is a remote full time position at lead level, based in United States.
Day to day work includes writing production code, reviewing model results and working with product teams on releases.
