Cohere is hiring a staff research engineer for Model Efficiency. The team makes inference of its foundation models faster without lowering quality.
- Improve model architecture and mixture-of-experts routing
- Develop decoding and inference time methods
- Work on software and hardware co-design for GPUs
- Ship efficiency gains to production
Requirements
- Deep experience in LLM inference
- Strong engineering skills
- Familiarity with GPU performance work
This is a remote full time position at lead level, based in New York, NY.
Day to day work includes reading papers, running experiments and sharing results with colleagues.
