‘Florida’s Freedom First Budget Has Room For Crypto’ Governor Ron DeSantis 

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced the Freedom First Budget of the State which stands at the whopping $99 billion and also claims that it has space for the blockchain and crypto innovations. 

Florida is eyeing cryptocurrency as currency that can play a key role in its economic strength and sustenance. The Mayors of Tampa and Miami happily accept their salaries in Bitcoin while the Freedom First Budget comes with a surprising news of introduction of Cryptocurrency in its mainstream stately jobs. 

 

The Governor’s budget has also a pilot program that deems to make Medicaid payments through cryptocurrencies that will bridge the gap and introduce technology to the AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration).

Not just, the program further claims to integrate blockchain technology to the FLHSMV (Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles). 

 

The proposal has a roadmap for introduction of blockchain technology to Florida’s major government institutions to make technology work for smooth and transparent governance. They also propose that the corporations will be given liberty to pay fees in coins of your choice. 

Florida makes way for the introduction of blockchain technology into its mainstream governance footprint and vows to make the cryptocurrency mainstream to help the State’s commerce and make it more suitable to the business organizations for the State’s economic future. 

Florida is known as one of the most crypto-friendly states, with the mayors of Miami and Tampa recently volunteering to collect their entire salary in Bitcoin.

Not just that, a cryptocurrency called “MiamiCoin” is also introduced to generate revenue for replacement of tax income.
