How Good is AMD RX 6800 TX’s Mining Hashrate?

When RTX 6800 XT was announced, they claimed it would provide around 60 MH/s.  So many things were questionable and the doubts had to be there as there were no drivers, software or overclocked clearly mentioned.

How well those claims fared when RX 6800 TX came out? Let’s find out. AMD RX 6800 XT was released back in November, 2020 claimed to be the high-end GPU from AMD RDNA 2 priced at about $650 MSRP. It’s been marketed as a core competitor to Nvidia’s RTX 3080 for mining and gaming.
During the launch AMD officials claimed its benchmarks to be equal to RTX 3080’s. We all expected it to be as good as it was officially claimed with 20W less energy consumption which is a lot.

However, please note that many features may vary hardware to hardware or GPU to GPU as a miner requires a lot of things to make work together. That means it’s Silicon Lottery or your miner can perform better or below with RX 6800 XT depending on many different things. As using both the latest AMD Zen 3 generation CPU and the latest AMD Navi 21 GPU, could boost up performance against the performances by Zen 2 or Intel processors.

On average we are posting below how close that could get in performance, overclocks, Ray Tracing FPS and mining Hash rate etc.

AMD RX 6800 XT Specs.

GPU Processor Cores Mem.  Memory Type Bus Width Memory Speed Infinity Cache TDP
Navi 21 4608 16 GBs GDDR6 256 bit 16 Gbps 128 MB 300 W

So how much is AMD RX 6800 XT’s Mining Hashrate?

Overclocks

RX 6800 XT Ethash Mining Overclocks RX 6800 KawPow Mining Overclocks
Ethash  63Mh/s 150 Watts KawPow 28Mh/s 185 Watts

Fan Speed (%) 70% ± based on your temps Fan Speed (%) 70% ± based on your temps.

Here you can see it’s about 63-64 MH/s. As we mentioned earlier it can slightly differ depending on the resources you are using.

Here you could easily see how below/above RX 6800 XT could perform against the one you are already using including Nvidia RTX 3080, AMD RX 6800 or any other.
