Key Features
Here are some of the key features we have shown below.
#1 Eye-Catching Silk PLA
The filament features a combination of shiny multicolor rainbow hues (green, blue, red, yellow) within a 1.75mm diameter. The colors change rapidly approximately every 10 meters, providing a stunning gradient effect. This eliminates the need for polishing and still gives a gorgeous, eye-catching surface to your prints.
#2 Silk Rainbow PLA
This filament allows you to experiment with multiple colors without needing large spools for each hue. You can achieve beautiful multicolor prints with a single spool. The silk glossy surface is perfect for arts, crafts, and DIY projects, making it user-friendly for both beginners and experts.
#3 Silky Texture and Smooth Surface
The unique silky texture of the filament results in smooth, glossy prints, giving your creations a refined and professional appearance. AMOLEN ensures that their PLA filament provides stunning results with minimal effort.
#4 Precision Printing
With a diameter of 1.75mm and a precision tolerance of +/- 0.02mm, this filament ensures smooth and consistent printing results. This high level of precision helps you achieve flawless prints, making it easy to work with.
#5 Reliable Printing
Made from high-quality raw materials sourced from the USA, the filament offers good shaping, strong toughness, and a smooth feeding process without jamming, bubbling, or warping. It melts well and feeds continuously through the nozzle, making it reliable for both beginners and experts.
Personal Experience with AMOLEN Filament
This is a four-pack of PLA filament, which includes Glow-in-the-Dark (GITD) green and blue, marble, and color-changing filaments.
GITD Green & Blue
- The green GITD filament works well with any light source, even a pocket flashlight. It’s easy to print with, and even novices will find it user-friendly. Setting the printer to translucent mode enhances the results.
- The blue GITD filament requires a stronger light for longer durations to glow effectively. It prints well with the same settings as the green filament, and the supports come off easily with minimal sanding.
Color Changing Filament
This filament prints easily and adheres well to a glued bed. The filament changes color, adding a translucent skirt and yellow hues during printing. However, the final print did not change color as expected, possibly due to the heated bed.
Marble Filament
Although not used yet, it is vacuum-sealed and stored in a hard plastic container for future use.
Well we would say, these filaments from Amolen are fantastic. They produce minimal waste, mostly from supports and skirting. The variety of colors and ease of printing make them a great choice for any 3D printing project. If you’re looking for high-quality, easy-to-print filament that adheres well, Amolen is a great option.
