About AfterJournal

AfterJournal is a publication and a directory for the people building software. We cover AI apps, startups, apps and the businesses behind them, and we keep a directory so those products can actually be found.

What you will find here

• Writing from people doing the work: what they shipped, what broke, what they would do differently.
• A directory of businesses, startups, apps and AI apps, browsable by type and category.
• An AI jobs board for machine learning, data, research, AI product and MLOps roles.

How things get published

Anyone can submit. Every submission is read by an editor before it goes live, and we say no to thin, copied or purely promotional pieces. Paid placements exist, they are labelled, and they are held to the same editorial bar. See our editorial policy for the detail.

Get involved

Writers can start here. If you run a product, list it in the directory. Anything else, get in touch.
